The Jamaican flag was officially adopted on August 6, 1962, the day Jamaica gained independence from the United Kingdom. More than just a national symbol, the Jamaican flag is a source of pride for Jamaicans around the world, representing independence, cultural identity, unity, and the enduring spirit of the island nation.Â
We are also seeking artifact donation to show in our exhibits. This includes any items that are culturally significant to Jamaica.
